3 ingredient meals: Shrimp Penne Florentine
Good morning everyone! I am so sorry I was absent yesterday! But to make up for it, I am sharing the most delicious three ingredient recipe I have EVER shared! And the best part? It couldn't be simpler!
Keep in mind, its not the most diet conscience, but you only live once...right?!
Shrimp Penne Florentine
Grocery List:
2 boxes frozen boil-in-bag creamed spinach
12 oz penne pasta
1 lb peeled, cleaned large shrimp
How to make it:
1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add spinach pouches; return to a boil. Add pasta; cook as pasta package directs.
2. Meanwhile, heat 1 Tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and 1⁄8 tsp pepper. Cook 3 minutes, or until cooked through. Remove from heat.
3. Scoop out 1⁄2 cup pasta cooking water; remove spinach. Drain pasta; return to pot. Add spinach, shrimp and 1⁄8 tsp pepper; toss to mix, gradually adding reserved water if needed to moisten.

We had this tonight and it was really yummy...I added garlic to the shrimp (about 2 cloves) and red pepper flakes. We like to kick it up a notch in our house! But I was amazed at how good only 3 ingredients can be!
sounds AWESOME! I am going to try that VERY soon! :)
